Five Year portraits
There are few portraits more important than the five year portrait. This portrait captures the innocence of childhood. The goal is to create the portrait before they loose any teeth. Once they loose their teeth they really begin to change physically. They loose their little girl or little boy features. This is the portrait that one day they will hand down to their children. I work hard to make sure we create a portrait that captures their personality in addition to documenting the bone structure of their face, hands and feet. When you choose to have your portrait created in oil or as a watercolor you create a true heirloom.
These are great examples of watercolor portraits capturing their five year milestone. The sisters portrait was created last year and the brothers we just completed. Don’t let this important time pass without allowing me to create a portrait of your five year old. ![]()
