<description>I am friends with Garrett&#039;s Dad, Neal. I meet Neal about 17 years ago and we became instant friends when we discovered that our baby boys were due around the same time. I feel as if I watched Garrett grow up - I knew how well he did in little league baseball and in the blink of an eye how he excelled in high school football. His parents were so very proud of everything there first born accomplished. I was shocked and saddened to hear of this tragic loss and the family is in all of our thoughts and prayers. We will always remember Garrett as an athlete, a friend, but most of all as a son to parents who truly adored him.
